Volunteers play an essential role in helping families experiencing homelessness attain sustainable independence.

 

Discover the wide range of volunteer opportunities at Family Promise:

• Spending a few hours in the office to make sure we have someone available to support our families at all times.

• Serving and/or preparing meals

• Provide homework help

• Assisting with fundraising events

• Empower families for success by sharing your skills

• Provide admin support in the office

• Mentor a family by providing long-term guidance and partnership 

• Provide leadership by joining the board, support is needed in many professional areas

• Provide families professional development support with resume building and interview skills

• Share your technology skills with families 

• Providing financial literacy training

• Provide home repair by helping with repair and upkeep at the Family Promise house.

• Serve as an overnight host and provide support to families in the evening and morning
